Meg McGreevy is a illustrator and sculptor from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University in England for 6 years before moving to New York City the summer of 2008 to pursue a carrier in styling and prop & model making.
While at University she created organically inspired fiberglass and resin sculptures and screen printed clothing, both of which she sold locally in Nottingham. After finishing University she moved to Brighton, England for two years. While in Brighton she worked for a prop and model making company in London, and maintained a market stall by the seaside where she sold bird sculptures made out of paper, birdie paintings and hand painted birdie clothing.
Meg's strengths include her use of color, eye for composition and her handling of various mediums to make her visions happen. She's interested in working with new mediums, drawing people when they aren't looking, getting lost in painting and making her visions three-dimensional. She's inspired by life, nature and traveling. She has experience working with fiberglass and resin, casting, model making, puppet making, sewing, wood, clay, painting, printing, photography, stop frame animation, and color.
